When I want to ask Sean if we should take the dogs for a walk I have to spell, "Do you want to go for a W-A-L-K?" Tonight when I spelled, Sam jumped up and stood right in my lap because he heard me say "Do you want to go..." and that was all he needed. I laugh when they know our terminology.
For instance, "YOU DO?" means "GET EXCITED DOGGIES! WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE FUN!". There have been plenty of times when I said something like, "Hey Sean, do you want pizza for dinner?" and couldn't hear his response. When I answer, "Babe, you do?" the dogs go wild. And then I have to take them for a car ride around the block because it was my fault for saying the magic words.
I'm training a new employee at work this week which means I get to come home at 5 o'clock. It's amazing to take our night walks when the sun is still out. I'm baffled that I am home and it's not even eight and I've got a whole half hour more of daylight!
So we took the dogs for a walk and watched a TiVo'd episode of Living Lohan.
Which reminds me. On my way to work this morning, I saw one of those ribbon bumper stickers... you know, the ones that usually say
Support our Troops? Well this particular ribbon on this woman's car said,
Support Flirting. I'm not kidding.
Here are some pictures from our walk:
I have a feeling that this blog unintentionally turned into a dog blog a long time ago. But hopefully, since you're still reading, you don't mind too much. Actually, I don't think that this blog turned into a dog blog...I think our LIFE turned into a dog. Or two. Soon to be three. :)

It wasn't MM's car was it?
There's nothing wrong with having a dog blog! :-)
Maybe its instinctual with pups "DO YOU WANNA GO..." We have 4 chihuahuas, and every night before bed, I'll turn to my partner and say: "Do you want to go lay down?" --and the babies go NUTS! Sometimes we say: "Do you wanna...go" --and they bark and start to romp. The four of them also know: "who wants to go bye-bye?" (said in the same tone as "do you wanna go..."--a cue to get them to run outside and do their tinkles.
--Loved this post! :)
I love love love dog blogs. Nuttin' wrong with that! My poochers get too excited about walks as well, and I'd hate to let them down after saying the magic words. Off we go! You're a good Momo - we spoil them a little, no?
Scott: I don't know who MM is. If you mean the rapper Eminem, than totallyyyyyyy.
Sari: Phew. I do feel much better now. :)
