Demolition Sunday

I called out of work sick today for the first time since December. I feel extremely guilty for it, like I'm letting my team down and severely handicapping my stats. I woke up at 6:30 and have been going back and forth as to whether or not I should go. But when your throat hurts and your job involves talking all day long, it's best to let it ride itself out. I'd be useless if I went anyway.

I know none of you want to hear me whine about a sore throat, so I'll stop now and tell you that Sean and I finally started to rip down those nasty wood sheds in our yard this weekend. I'm thrilled, although I think this project is going to take us a while (and we still have no means of getting rid of the rubbish afterwards) because whoever built these things put a million screws and nails everywhere. It took us two hours to get a small section of the roof off.

And Jasmine decided to dig a hole as I was working on the roof. Smart dog. She knew I couldn't stop her without a whole lot of effort on my part, so she dug away even as I was reprimanding her.

Doesn't she look proud?

Scott: Yeah, we did.

Brie: Hehe. You're the second person who said that to me today so I better clarify. I actually AM really sick. These photos were taken over the past weekend.
