The patient and her nurse

I just have to share this photo with you. My throat has been killing me for the last two days, it feels like I've swallowed razorblades. This isn't unusual for me. I've had ear trouble since I was a baby and have gone through several surgeries to get my hearing back. My left ear bothers me often and my left gland is in a constant state of swollen.

Tonight though, it HURTS. Sean made me an ice cream sundae to help ease the pain a bit. And then I asked him if he could see if my throat was red or cut at all. So here I am on the couch, Sean is leaning over me, and I've got the coffee table lamp over my head so that he can see down my throat. Meanwhile, our front windows are wide open.

When Sean stated, "I wonder what the neighbors would think of us if they happened to peer in our window right about now", we both laughed and I pulled out my cellphone for such a photo op.

That's blogworthy, isn't it?

PS. OUCH.
