Living room camping

We lost our trusty window fan this week, it just quit on us, and so our bedroom was hotter than usual last night. Sean turned to me and asked if I wanted to drag our double [sleeping] bag downstairs. Our central air gets pretty cool downstairs and so we decided on a family field trip.

Sammy Oscar, our "needs to be on a set schedule" dog, was pretty upset that he was sleeping downstairs away from his puppy bed. He kept walking to the top of the stairs and hitting the door with his paw.

But in the end, I'm pretty sure it was Sammy who slept the best out of all of us. I don't mind sleeping on the floor, but man, I'd rather be sleeping in my bed.

At least it was nice and cool, and at least we camped out as a family. Our next plan is to see how the dogs react to tents so we can take doggy camping trips. OMG, can you imagine?

Cute photos. I love camping out on the living room floor. My husband doesn't get so excited, but he does it every once in a while for me. :)

You can come over here Dallas and camp all you want. I'm having a hard time getting Sean to sleep in our bed now that he's discovered that he can sleep in ANY ROOM HE WANTS! because we own a HOUSE! and an AIR MATTRESS! lol.
